Cave hopping Tour
Explore caves of island Vis
1 Biševo Island's Blue Cave, an awe-inspiring 18m limestone marvel, caught the fascination of Baron Eugen von Ransonnet-Villez in 1884, transforming it into a premier tourist destination. Accessed by small boats, dependent on weather, the cave's shielded blue-silver radiance, coupled with its scenic surroundings, crafts a truly breathtaking annual experience for visitors.

2 Biševo Island's Monk Seal Cave, the Adriatic's lengthiest sea cave at 160 meters, earned its name from the once-thriving population of Mediterranean monk seals. Designated a protected geomorphological monument in 1967, the cave remains open to visitors. Despite the endangered status of the seals today, who once massively populated it, exploring the cave is permitted, allowing visitors to swim in its distinctive interior, which includes a spacious hall and a winding canal leading to a small beach.

3 The Green Cave in Rukavac Bay, Ravnik, is known for its greenish glow from algae. Legends say being illuminated by the cave's light can bring a 100-year life. The cave also hosts a remarkable number of hidden birds.
